Donald Cerrone Giving Up ‘Wild Man Antics’ After Near-Death Experience

Donald Cerrone is known for his love of extreme sports, whether it be wakeboarding, rock climbing or bull riding.

However, after a recent near-death experience scaling rocks, Cerrone has vowed to give up some of the higher-risk activities.

It appears “Cowboy’s” safety equipment malfunctioned and he fell some 40 feet. Cerrone posted on Twitter recently that he has decided to stay a little more grounded as he prepares to face K.J. Noons at UFC 160 in April.

Cerrone is coming off a loss to Anthony Pettis, and later added on the social media site that he is 100-percent focused on MMA. If he is going to break into the upper-echelon of the lightweight division, he’ll need to have his complete attention set on mixed martial arts.
