Mark Hunt landed a flying left hook that broke the jaw of Stefan Struve Saturday night at UFC on FUEL TV 8. Now, “The Super Samoan” wants another Top-10 ranked UFC heavyweight.
Hunt (9-7) earned his fourth consecutive victory inside the Octagon when he finished Struve in the third round. He has scored three knockouts in his last four wins, and told the post-fight show on FUEL TV of his future plans.
“Of course I would like to go for the title,” Hunt said. “Anyone in the Top-10.”
Hunt specifically called for a match with Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva, but he is lined up for a title shot with Cain Velasquez.
The former K-1 kickboxing standout showed that he has all the knockout power in the world to finish anyone in the division, but he might need another big-time win to move up the ladder closer to a championship match. Plus, he might want to start answering post-fight questions inside the cage with more than one-word answers.
