A report by The Province has a match set for the UFC’s return to Seattle in July, as welterweight contenders Rory MacDonald and Jake Ellenberger will meet.
MacDonald (14-1) has been out of action since earning a December win over BJ Penn. He suffered a neck injury in training that forced him to be removed from a planned encounter with Carlos Condit.
Ellenberger (29-6), meanwhile, will be looking to improve to 9-1 in his last 10 when he faces MacDonald. He scored a finish of Nate Marquardt earlier this year.
