Fallon Fox, despite much talk concerning her gender, scored a third round submission victory over Allanna Jones Friday night in the co-main event of Championship Fighting Alliance 11 from Florida.
Fox, who was born a man and underwent several procedures to become a woman, patiently picked Jones (2-2) apart using her kicks to the body. In the third, Fox (3-0) scored a takedown before submitting Jones.
Next up for Fox is a match with Ashlee Evans-Smith in the finals of the CFA $20,000 woman’s featherweight tournament.
In the main event, former UFC and Strikeforce fighter Mike Kyle knocked out Travis Wiuff in a matter of seconds.
