UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez appears to have the number of Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva.

In fact, maybe it’s AKA that has Silva’s number, as teammate Daniel Cormier also bested the big Brazilian recently.

Velasquez earned his second TKO finish of Bigfoot at UFC 160 Saturday night, earning his first successful title defense this time around. For the top-ranked fighter, the gameplan was simple, and he stuck to it.

“My gameplan was moving a lot,” he said. “The important thing was not staying in front of him. Moving, looking for the takedown, looking for the punches; but never staying in front of him.”

With Silva having the obvious size advantage, Velasquez used his speed and quickness, as the challenger landed just two strikes in the minute-plus bout.

So, who could be next for Velasquez? A possible third fight with Junior dos Santos, who defeated Mark Hunt on the same card.

“He looked good,” said Velasquez of dos Santos. “He’s tough.”
