Jon Jones Appears To Have Fight Offer On The Table

Without spoiling any planned announcement, UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has made it known the UFC is looking to book him sooner rather than later.

Jones, on Twitter over the past two days, made it known that he is looking at returning to the Octagon in the near future – or having surgery and being sidelined for an extended period of time.

“Maybe making a quick return people, about to go Super Saiyan this camp,” Jones wrote late Tuesday night, adding, “Trying to be on schedule with destiny.”

Early Wednesday, “Bones” saw his foot doctor and wrote “got a lot to contemplate today..Decisions, decisions.” He later answered a question from a fan in regards to what he was contemplating by posting “Jump into a training camp in three weeks or recovery more.”

Jones could be hinting at a match this summer with Alexander Gustafsson, as the two have had several Twitter exchanges in recent days. The champ is sidelined with a foot injury suffered last month in his win over Chael Sonnen.
