Chris Weidman is a perfect 9-0 in his pro MMA career.
Entering Saturday night’s UFC 162 event, many feel “The All-American” has the tools to unseat UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.
Weidman, appearing on a recent edition of “UFC Tonight,” discussed how he plans to make all those backing him right.
“I’m going for the finish,” Weidman said. “I have a hard time visualizing this fight going the full five rounds, with all due respect. I’ve envisioned it. I just have to make it happen on Saturday.”
Weidman added that he has “been living with the belt around me already.”
Both UFC Tonight co-hosts Kenny Florian and Chael Sonnen selected Weidman to win, including a stoppage victory for him by Sonnen.
