B.J. Penn wonders if Anderson Silva is bored

B.J Penn will always be recognized as one of the greatest lightweight fighters of our time. Now that the mastermind of the middleweight division has fallen, many mma fans and fighters feel like Silva is still the best out there, and it’s tough to debate that with the endless list of accomplishments Silva’s acquired in the Octagon.

“The Prodigy” shares some thoughts on “The Spider’s” devastating loss at UFC 162 that came at the hands of Chris Weidman via Bleacher Report.

“Before I was going there everybody was saying Weidman has a good chance, and while I was walking there I was thinking in my head, ‘It doesn’t matter what happens to Anderson tonight. Win, lose or draw, he has nothing to prove. He’s done it already… I know it might sound strange to just a fan, but maybe he’s bored? I’m sure people get bored after being the baddest man on the earth for ten years straight.”
