Another injury has hit the UFC, forcing a planned Josh Koscheck-Demian Maia welterweight bout to be scrapped.
The two were expected to be part of the main card on August 3 from Brazil at UFC 163.
Koscheck (17-7) suffered an injury in training. He has lost his last two bouts, falling to Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler.
Maia (18-4) is on a three-fight win streak since his decision to leave middleweight and joining the ranks of 170-pound fighters. His wins have come over Dong Hyun Kim, Rick Story and Jon Fitch.
