Sorry to all the Nick Diaz supporters out there hoping to see the former Strikeforce champion back inside the Octagon soon.
UFC president Dana White is setting the record state, and Diaz doesn’t appear to be in line for a match as of now.
Earlier this month, Cesar Gracie claimed that Diaz had a fight contract offered to him and that it was “kind of neat” in terms of the opponent. White quickly shot that notion down, and added the latest over the weekend.
“I haven’t spoken to Cesar in over a year,” White said.
The long – and rough – history between Gracie, Diaz and White is well known, as the three have had plenty of issues in the past.
White has confirmed that he talked with Diaz in the past few weeks, even setting him up with tickets for UFC 162 in Las Vegas.
