UFC On FOX 8 Medicals: Several Fighters Handed Six-Month Suspensions

A handful of fighters who competed at UFC on FOX 8 recently were handed 180-day medical suspensions by the Washington State Department of Licensing.

All the fighters were given at least a seven-day suspension from competing, as his the norm.

John Moraga, Ed Herman, Bobby Voelker and a few others were handed the six-month suspensions, while both Germaine de Randamie and Trevor Smith were indefinitely suspended.

As always, these suspensions can be reduced by clearance from a doctor.

John Moraga suspended 180 days unless cleared by doctor, otherwise suspended 30 days.

Bobby Voelker suspended 180 days unless cleared by doctor, otherwise suspended 60 days.

Jessica Andrade suspended 45 days unless cleared by doctor, otherwise suspended 30 days.

Michael Chiesa suspended 180 days unless cleared by doctor, otherwise suspended 30 days.

Danny Castillo suspended 180 days unless cleared by doctor.

Mac Danzig suspended 180 days unless cleared by doctor, otherwise suspended 60 days.

Ed Herman suspended 180 days unless cleared by doctor.

Trevor Smith suspended indefinitely until cleared by a doctor, otherwise suspended 42 days.

Germaine de Randamie suspended indefinitely until cleared by a doctor, otherwise suspended 30 days.

Justin Salas suspended 45 days.

Aaron Riley suspended 180 days unless cleared by a doctor, otherwise suspended 45 days.
