Ronda Rousey Will Retire When She’s ‘Ready To Make Babies’

UFC female bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey went on the attack via Twitter this weekend following a report about her impending retirement.

Rousey, who stated she would likely call it a career from MMA in the next couple of years, defended her statements.

“To everyone giving me shit for ‘hypothetically retiring’ someday…I’ll retire when I feel like my mark has been made and I’m ready to make babies,” Rousey posted. “My best guess was 2-3 years but that’s a guess, who knows, the day I’m not overjoyed (to) go (to) the gym is the day I quit.

“Could be tomorrow or in seven years.”

Rousey has been in the headlines thanks to her decision to embark on a career in Hollywood, signing on to appear in both “The Expendables 3″ and “Fast & Furious 7.” She has stated that neither movie will cause her time away from training or fighting.

Currently, Rousey is set to face Miesha Tate this December at UFC 168.
