Luckily for UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, his grueling 25-minute, five-round war with Alexander Gustafsson didn’t result in a broken foot.
Immediately following the fight, which Jones won via decision, it was reported that he suffered a broken foot. However, after getting an MRI done recently, “Bones” confirmed the good news.
Just got back from a MRI, Great news! my foot is not broken or fractured.. Focusing on a full recovery

Jones and Gustafsson appear set for a rematch, but he could also defend his belt vs. Glover Teixeira instead. Jones set a new UFC record with his sixth successful title defense.
