Joe Rogan On Jon Jones Boxing Heavyweight Champion: “No, No, No”

UFC commentator Joe Rogan is an avid fan of Jon Jones.

Rogan constantly can be heard gushing about the UFC light heavyweight champion and his skills, but the stand-up comedian isn’t joking around when it comes to “Bones” squaring off with world boxing heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko.

Jones recently made comments about a desire to box Klitschko, and Rogan told the gossip site TMZ his thoughts on such a “dream” fight.

“No, no, no. I think anybody who thinks they can box with one of the very best boxers the heavyweight division has ever seen is kidding themselves,” Rogan said. “I don’t think it’s a good idea. Wladimir Klitschko hasn’t lost in a decade.”

Rogan did add that a person feeling they could compete with someone as decorated as Klitschko could be “the type of person who is a real achiever who likes to set very, very high goals for himself.”

Jones is coming off a victory over Alexander Gustafsson, and it appears as if plans are in place for an immediate rematch or a fight with Glover Teixeira.
