Michael Bisping Promises To Be Back Soon Following Eye Injury

Michael Bisping wanted nothing more than to compete in front of his home fans and defeat Mark Munoz, climbing his way back into title contention in the UFC’s middleweight division.

However, Bisping suffered an eye injury and was forced out of the planned UFC Fight Night encounter in October. Lyoto Machida has been tabbed to take his place.

“Words cannot describe how said I am having to withdraw from my fight,” he wrote. “My sincere apologies to everyone who bought tickets. I will be back soon.

“I apologize to the UFC, to Munoz and to everyone who bought tickets.”

It remains unknown when “The Count” will be able to return to action. He was looking to build off a convincing win over Alan Belcher recently.
