Matt Brown just wants his opportunity.
Brown, winner of his last six fights in a row, can position himself nicely in the UFC’s welterweight pecking order this December when he faces former interim UFC champion Carlos Condit.
The two will square off at UFC on FOX 9 from Sacramento.
Recently, Brown was asked his thoughts on the upcoming title-fight between Georges St-Pierre and Johny Hendricks. More precisely, who he would like to fight down the road if it came to that.
“Both of them,” said Brown, which drew a loud ovation from the crowd in attendance at the press conference. “I’ll fight’em both at once.”
Brown has asked for a top opponent since stringing together this run. He said a win over Condit, who most view in the top-three of the division, should give him a title shot.
“He’s ranked No. 2, right?” Brown said. “If I beat him, I think I should be ranked No. 2, right? I think (that would get me a title fight).”
