Manuwa is sort of like the British version of top light heavyweight contender Glover Teixeira, albeit from a year ago. He’s established himself as a threat through domination on the regional scene and looked sharp in his early UFC appearances. “Poster Boy” has picked up TKOs over Kyle Kingsbury and Cyrille Diabate thus far with an eye on adding Ryan Jimmo to the list on Saturday night. If he takes out the former MFC title-holder, expect the 13-0 Manuwa to get a ranked opponent in early 2014 to see if he’s ready for a run at the belt. He’s powerful and precise, but doesn’t have 2-3 years to play with based on his age (33) and needs to be brought along fast.
