Ronda Rousey Moves Into UFC Overall Top-10

With the disappearance of Georges St-Pierre for the time being from the UFC, the official rankings received a new face to the Top-10.

UFC female bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey was moved into the No. 10 position after GSP was taken out last week. The complete rankings were than updated following this past Saturday’s card.

Demetrious Johnson, who successfully defended his UFC flyweight title over Joseph Benavidez with a first round knockout, moved to fifth overall behind Jon Jones, Jose Aldo, Anderson Silva and Cain Velasquez.

John Dodson overtook Benavidez as the No. 1 contender, though he lost to Johnson earlier this year, as well.

Scott Jorgensen had the biggest fall, dropping to 10th overall at bantamweight after falling to flyweight newcomer Zach Makovsky. Ali Bagautinov moved up two spots in the 125-pound rankings.
