The chances of Vitor Belfort having many friendly talks with his fellow UFC fighters in the future are slim-to-none.
After Hector Lombard poked fun at Belfort for his use of TRT, Tim Kennedy followed suit.
“If I ever have to have my doctors and lawyers speak for me I’m going to quit fighting,” Kennedy posted on Twitter.
The military veteran, who faces Michael Bisping later this year, was referencing the statements released from Belfort on FOX Sports Live earlier this week after the Nevada Athletic Commission banned TRT. The UFC followed the decision, stating they would remove Belfort from a planned title fight with UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman.
Since that statement, Belfort has posted his own messages on social media sites, stating his desire to return and fight for the title – free of TRT.
If I ever have to have my doctors and lawyers speak for me I'm going to quit fighting. #TRT
