Ronda Rousey Adds Court Dealings To Her Full Plate

UFC female bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has her hands full at the moment, balancing her MMA career with a budding film run in Hollywood.

However, Rousey now has another issue to deal with regarding a contract tying her to the Fight Tribe Management firm.

Earlier this month, Fight Tribe filed a request for arbitration in California asking that a neutral party decide whether Rousey is legally bound to a representation agreement it signed with the fight, according to a report from MMAjunkie.com. A dispute such as this is brought before the California Athletic Commission and was done so recently.

The ruling will be made public when it is given by the commission.

Rousey’s attorney, Steven Bash, told the site that “This might take a while,” adding that the fighter was expected to attend the meeting.

At the moment, Rousey does not have a fight lined up, but has stated she is targeting a late summer return to the Octagon. She has been filming scenes for her role in the upcoming “Entourage” movie.
