Chris Weidman Posts Surgery Was A Success To Fix His Knees

UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman’s currently laid up, but recovering after surgery to fix his injured knees.

Weidman underwent an operation on both of his ligaments late Tuesday night, but informed everyone via social media that he is out and everything went well.

“Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes,” he posted. “Surgery was a success!”

Weidman, fresh off back-to-back finishes of Anderson Silva, is scheduled to be fully-recovered by July – or actually sooner, to start training – to face Lyoto Machida at UFC 175.

Along with a picture of himself in the hospital bed, “The All-American” also snapped a quickie of his cleanly shaven leg, and feels it could be the start of a new trend for him.
