Bellator 115: Medical Suspensions Issued To Eight Fighters

The Nevada Athletic Commission hit Bellator heavyweight champion Vitaly Minakov with a lengthy medical suspension following his recent victory over Cheick Kongo at Bellator 115.

Minakov is suspended 45 days, which could stretch to 180 depending on clearance for a left shoulder injury.

A total of eight fighters received medical suspensions from the event.

Vitaly Minakov suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days. Additionally, must have left shoulder cleared or no contact for 180 days.

Justin Baesman suspended 30 days with no contact for 21 days.

Herman Terrado suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days for left cheek laceration.

Rudy Morales suspended 90 days unless right hand is cleared by doctor. Otherwise, no contest for 180 days.

Jimmy Jones suspended 60 days with no contact for 60 days for scalp laceration.

Rick Reeves suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days for right cheek laceration.

James Terry suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days for right cheek laceration.

Freddie Aquitania suspended 60 days with no contact for 45 days. Additionally, must have nose cleared by ENT and right elbow cleared by doctor or no contest for 180 days.
