That long-awaited Conor McGregor-Cole Miller battle will have to wait a little while longer, as Miller has suffered an injury. He will be replaced by Diego Brandao for the main event of UFC Fight Night Dublin this coming July.
Set for July 19, the event will take place inside the O2 Arena in Dublin, Ireland. Along with McGregor-Brandao, the card features Gunnar Nelson vs. Zak Cummings and Brad Pickett vs. Ian McCall.
McGregor (14-2) is on a 10-fight win streak, including two wins inside the Octagon. After finishing Marcus Brimage in his debut, the Irish fighter earned a decision over Max Holloway.
However, McGregor suffered a knee injury and has been on the sidelines since defeating Holloway.
Brandao (18-9) is 4-2 in his last six overall. The former Ultimate Fighter winner lost to Dustin Poirier this past December and has had each of his last two fights scratched due to injury.
Miller suffered torn ligaments in his thumb, forcing his exit. Miller and McGregor engaged in a lengthy Twitter feud before the contest was announced.
