Cole Miller’s plans to stop the Conor McGregor train hit a snag when he suffered torn ligaments in his right thumb. Instead of facing Miller, McGregor will now meet Diego Brandao at UFC Fight Night: Dublin later this year.
Miller posted a picture of his injured hand on Twitter, along with the caption, “This what fear looks like.”

Miler (21-8) has won two straight, defeating Sam Sicilia and Andy Ogle. The 30-year-old is 3-1 in his last four and 10-6 overall with the UFC.
According to the Houston Methodist Orthopedics and Sports Medicine site, an injury of Miller’s nature usually does not require surgery and will heal on its own over the course of four-to-six weeks.
