Bellator 125 Fight Card: Change Made To Co-Main Event

brian rogers

Rafael Carvahlo will step up from the prelims to the co-main event on Spike TV for Bellator 125, agreeing to replace Brett Cooper and meet Brian Rogers. Officials announced the change recently for the September 19 card.

Rogers is on a third opponent, as he was originally set to face James Irvin. After an injury knocked Irvin out, Cooper agreed to replace him, only to go down himself with a foot injury.

The event features a middleweight contest between Doug Marshall and Melvin Manhoef, along with featherweights Martin Stapleton vs. Goiti Yamauchi and Javy Ayala vs. Raphael Butler.

Carvahlo, who was expected to fight Anthony Ruiz on the prelims, has been replaced by Nate James.
