ufc 178

UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson was one of four fighters to earn over $100,000 from fights at UFC 178 this past weekend.

“Mighty Mouse,” who defeated Chris Cariaso in the main event, earned $183,000. That included a $54,000 win bonus.

Conor McGregor picked up a check for $150,000 for his win over Dustin Poirier, while Donald Cerrone ($126,000) and Eddie Alvarez ($100,000) also broke the six-figure mark.

As usual, these numbers do not include any type of locker room, sponsorship or bonus money.

Also, the fighter medical suspensions were released, with Tim Kennedy receiving one of the longer suspensions.

Kennedy, who lost to Yoel Romero, was medically suspended 180 days and will need to have his left orbital inferior looked at for a blowout fracture.

Cat Zingano, Stephen Thompson and Jon Tuck were also given 180-day suspensions.
