UFC 181: Double Dose Of Pettis Brothers In Action

Sergio Pettis, the younger brother of UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, will get the opportunity to fight on the same card this December.

Officials announced the bantamweight Pettis for a bout with Matt Hobar at UFC 181 on December 6 from Las Vegas. Anthony Pettis meets Gilbert Melendez in the co-main event, while Johny Hendricks defends his welterweight title vs. Robbie Lawler in the main event.

Sergio Pettis (11-1) has posted a 2-1 record since debuting with the promotion, defeating both Yaotzin Meza and Will Campuzano. His lone Octagon loss came at the hands of Alex Caceres.

Hobar (9-2) is an even 1-1 in two UFC appearances, defeating Aaron Phillips and falling to Pedro Munhoz.
