A lightweight contest has been added to UFC 185, as Ross Pearson takes on Sam Stout.
Set for March 14 from Dallas, the event features two world title fights. Anthony Pettis defends his lightweight title against Rafael dos Anjos in the main event, while Carla Esparza puts her newly-won female strawweight belt on the line vs. Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
Pearson (16-8) is a former Ultimate Fighter winner, but is just 1-2 with one no-contest in his last four fights after putting together back-to-back finishes vs. Ryan Couture and George Sotiropoulos.
Stout (20-10-1) also finds himself in need of a win after going 1-2 in his last three, as well. He has alternated wins and losses in his last eight, including a 2014 loss to KJ Noons.
