Despite suffering his second loss via submission in the last 21 days, Josh Koscheck wasn’t ready to call an end to his career Saturday night.
Koscheck fell to Erick Silva in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 62 in Brazil, taking the bout three weeks after losing to Jake Ellenberger.
The former No. 1 contender to the UFC welterweight title hasn’t won since a 2012 victory over Mike Pierce. He lost to Georges St-Pierre in 2010 for the belt.
“I came to fight and it didn’t go my way,” Koscheck said (thanks to MMAjunkie.com for the quotes). “I’ve just got to re-evaluate my career – everything that I have done and where I am at this point of my career – and figure out what I am going to do.
“We will go home, re-evaluate life and see what’s next.”
