BAMMA officials have announced that three upcoming events will stream live across Europe on the ESPN Player.
The deal starts with BAMMA 19 on March 28 from Blackpool, England. The live streaming will not be available in the United Kingdom.
“Further to the agreement with EFC for upcoming events, BAMMA is a fantastic addition to ESPN Player,” ESPN EMEA vice president Charly Classen said. MMA is growing rapidly and we are delighted to provide a platform for even greater expansion – by bringing live and on-demand action of Britain’s biggest fighting franchise to European audiences.”
The live streaming broadcast includes all the undercard bouts and comes as either a single event pass, double pass or triple pass. For more information, check out ESPN Player’s official site.
BAMMA officials also announced that events will air live on Spike TV UK beginning with BAMMA 20 on Channel 5.
“We are delighted to confirm a long term partnership with the newly launched Spike UK channel,” BAMMA CEO David Green said. “Spike are a powerhouse in the sport of MMA, and we believe that they are the perfect strategic partner to further grow the sport of MMA and the BAMMA brand. This deal will offer BAMMA an unrivalled reach to the domestic TV audience, and continues BAMMA’s position as the most watched MMA events in the UK.”
