Top middleweight contenders Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza and Yoel Romero have been added to the December UFC 194 card. The fight was first reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Set for December 12 from Las Vegas and the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Jose Aldo will take on Conor McGregor to crown an undisputed featherweight champion. Also, Chris Weidman defends his middleweight title vs. Luke Rockhold at the card.
Souza (22-3) has won eight in a row, including submission wins over Chris Camozzi, Gegard Mousasi, Ed Herman and Bristol Marunde, while also scoring finishes of Yushin Okami and Derek Brunson, since signing with the UFC.
Romero (10-1) is on a similar run, finishing Lyoto Machida this past June for his sixth consecutive victory. His streak includes five finishes among the six.
