Stepping up on short notice, Jorge Masvidal pushed former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson Saturday at UFC Fight Night 79.

Masvidal replaced Thiago Alves after an injury knocked Alves out. Henderson, making his final appearance on his current UFC contract, earned a pair of 48-47 decisions, while Masvidal claimed the other score.
In the co-main event, Dong Hyun Kim finished Dominic Waters in the first round and Alberto Mina scored a split decision over Yoshihiro Akiyama.
Doo Ho Choi and Dongi Yang each picked up TKO finishes against Sam Sicilia and Jake Collier, while Mike De La Torre and Tae Hyun Bang earned split decisions.
