Holly Holm Reaping Benefits Of Being Champ

UFC president Dana White let it be known that the company is keeping Holly Holm happy.

Holm earned one of the biggest upsets in MMA history last year, defeating Ronda Rousey and becoming the UFC female bantamweight champion.

Next up for Holm will be Miesha Tate this March, and White made sure to clear up any thought concerning issues with Holm atop the 135-pound division.

“Holly doesn’t get overlooked at all,” he said, appearing on a recent episode of the Jalen and Jacoby Show on ESPN (thanks to FOXSports.com for the quotes). “She beat the unbeatable. She went in and accomplished the impossible.

“Believe me, she is receiving all the accolades and the financial rewards that go along with a huge accomplishment with that.”

Holm (10-0), a former world boxing champion, has now won all three of her UFC fights. The knockout of Rousey was her first finish since 2014.
