Max Holloway will get one more chance to prove himself as the top featherweight contender when he meets one-time title challenger Ricardo Lamas at UFC 199.
Set for June 4 from The Forum in Los Angeles, the event is headlined by Chris Weidman challenging Luke Rockhold for the middleweight belt.
Holloway (15-3) is on a division-high eight-fight win streak, including recent wins over Jeremy Stephens, Charles Oliveira, Cub Swanson and Cole Miller. He has not lost since a 2013 decision defeat to current champ Conor McGregor.
Lamas (16-4) got back in the win column this past November with a decision over Diego Sanchez. He is 3-1 in his last four since a 2014 loss to then-champion Jose Aldo via decision.
