Dennis Bermudez picked up his second straight win Saturday night at UFC Fight Night 92, picking Rony Jason apart and earning a decision win.
For Bermudez, the win was his ninth in his last 11 fights and he believes a bout with former champion Frankie Edgar sounds good for his next appearance.
“Frankie Edgar, November 14, Madison Square Garden, let’s go,” Bermudez screamed into the microphone before walking out of the Octagon.
The New York native has defeated the likes of Tatsuya Kawajiri, Clay Guida and Max Holloway during his five-year run in the Octagon. He lost in the finals of The Ultimate Fighter to Diego Brandao back in 2011 but won his next seven in a row before losses to Jeremy Stephens and Ricardo Lamas.
