UFC 210: Results From Buffalo

Daniel Cormier came out and took care of business once again Saturday night, submitting Anthony Johnson in the main event of UFC 210.

Cormier successfully defended his light heavyweight title in Buffalo, locking up a rear-naked choke just over midway through the second round. Last year, “DC” won the title with a submission of “Rumble.”

In the co-main event, Gegard Mousasi positioned himself as a top contender in the middleweight division with a second round finish of former champion Chris Weidman.

Cynthia Calvillo submitted Pearl Gonzalez and Charles Oliveira did the same to Will Brooks, as both Calvillo and Oliviera secured rear-naked chokes.

Thiago Alves sent Patrick Cote into retirement with a decision victory.

On the prelims, Myles Jury, Kamaru Usman, Shane Burgos, Patrick Cummins, Gregor Gillespie, Desmond Green, Katlyn Chookagian and Magomed Bibulatov all scored wins.
