Matt Brown To Call It A Career After UFC Fight Night: Norfolk

Matt Brown announced plans to retire from active competition after his November bout with Diego Sanchez.

“The Immortal” won seven consecutive fights between 2012-14, but is just 1-5 over his last six. Brown is 20-16 in his career and has fought for the UFC since 2008.

Brown was a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter 7 and is tied for the most finishes in the UFC’s welterweight division with 11. He has won “Fight of the Night” three times and has two other bonuses.
