DREAM.13 takes place early tomorrow morning at the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama, Japan.

The UFC on Versus 1 weigh-ins took place this earlier this evening at the 1STBANK Center Practice Court in Broomfield, Colorado.

UFC on Versus isn’t the only MMA event going down this weekend. DREAM.13 kicks off a few hours in Japan after the UFC card wraps up. Buentello knows he isn’t getting any younger and is solely focused on winning fights and keeping his job in the UFC.

The opening round match-ups for Bellator FC’s season two lightweight tournament have been announced.

Chad Hinton will get first crack at tournament favorite Roger Huerta while 2009 Submission of the Year winner Toby Imada will face off against Ferrid Kheder. The other pairings include Janne Tulirinta vs. Carey Vanier and Pat Curran vs. Mike Ricci.

Season two kicks off with Bellator XIII on Thursday, April 8, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida and will air live on FSN followed by a highlight show on NBC and Telemundo on Saturday, April 10. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster.

Scott Coker talks to Fanhouse about their alliance with DREAM, potentially bringing Strikeforce to Japan and when Fedor might return.

It’s official. Strikeforce “St. Louis: Heavy Artillery” is scheduled to take place at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri on Saturday, May 15 and will air live on Showtime at 10PM ET (tape delayed on the West Coast). The event will be headlined by two heavyweight bouts — Alistair Overeem vs. Brett Rogers and Andrei Arlovski vs. Antonio Silva. It’s unclear if Overeem’s heavyweight title will be on the line or not.
