Despite a public warning for a possible license revocation from CSAC Assistant Executive Officer Bill Douglas, it looks like Antonio Silva has decided to violate his steroid suspension and fight in Japan for Sengoku on Jan. 4 anyways. Sherdog’s Loretta Hunt has the story.
Antonio Silva has accepted an offer to face Yoshihiro Nakao at World Victory Road’s upcoming Sengoku event on Jan. 4 in Saitama, Japan, confirmed his manager Alex Davis on Sunday.

It looks like Antonio Silva may want to reconsider his decision to fight in Japan for Sengoku on Jan. 4. Apparently, the CSAC is less than thrilled about Silva’s intention to violate his steroid suspension, and plans to do something about it if he does. And I’m not talking about a slap on the wrist either.
A lot of quiet and some not so quiet celebrations took place when it was announced that former CSAC Executive Director Armando Garcia was “resigning.” After Sean Sherk’s highly publicized steroid case with the CSAC last year, and his subsequent proclamation that he would never fight again in the state of California because of the way he was treated, you would think Sherk would be one of those people celebrating. Well, if that’s what you thought, you were right, sort of. Sherk is very happy that Armando Garcia is gone
