Yesterday, Japan’s Fighting & Entertainment Group (FEG) announced the first round match-ups for its inaugural Featherweight Grand Prix at DREAM.7. It will serve as the third grand prix the company has held since forming.

WEC 34: Faber vs. Pulver took place tonight, June 1, in front of a packed house at the Arco Arena in Sacramento, California. Two championship fights took place in the WEC featherweight and bantamweight divisions. Jens Pulver challenged WEC Featherweight Champion, Urijah Faber for the title in what has been billed as the world’s greatest featherweight fight of all time. Bantamweight Champion, Miguel Torres, took on Yoshiro Maeda in his first title defense.

The WEC announced a number of fights for their June 1 event at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, California. The event will be headlined by a title fight between Featherweight Champion Urijah Faber and Jens Pulver.
