Dan Lauzon, the younger brother of UFC lightweight contender Joe Lauzon, was scheduled to fight IFL standout Chris Horodecki at Affliction “Day of Reckoning” before it was “rescheduled” for Jan. 17. As expected, with the recently announced partnership between Affliction and Golden Boy, there will be changes made to the fight card. Lauzon seems like a good kid with a promising future in the sport. Here’s to hoping Dan isn’t one of the fighters who loses a great opportunity due to the promotion’s change in direction.

Matt Lindland, Jay Hieron, And Chris Horodecki All Find Opponents For Affliction ‘Day Of Reckoning’

Three more fights were added to Affliction’s “Day of Reckoning” card over the past few days. Matt Lindland, Jay Hieron, and Chris Horodecki were all confirmed or rumored to be competing at Affliction’s second event, which is scheduled to take place on Oct. 11 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. They, however, did not have opponents until now.
