Just what you asked Santa for, Frank Shamrock singing a Christmas song. Merry Christmas everybody!

It’s an odd pair for a highlight video—Frank Shamrock and Kenny Florian. But, you don’t question a master of his craft, and that’s exactly what Genghis Con is. He takes MMA highlight videos to a whole another level, and once again, he’s managed to put together an insanely awesome video of two fighters you’ve never heard spoken in the same sentence. Take the time and watch it, it’s worth it.

Round two of the Shamrock/Baroni fight, plus Frank’s match against Cesar Gracie after the jump.
It’s been talked about for as long as I can remember. Now, it’s signed. Brothers, Frank and Ken Shamrock, have agreed to fight each other in 2009. Michael Woods of ESPN.com has the report.
“We’ve both signed a contract to fight each other,” younger brother Frank Shamrock told ESPN.com. “Ken is down with it. We talked about it two years ago, and we’ve agreed materially to fight.”

Frank Shamrock and Dan Doyle engage in a spirited debate after the jump.

That is a man with a plan. Say what you want about Frank Shamrock, but he understands the business end of MMA at least as well, if not better than any other fighter.
All you Mauro Ranallo fans can breathe easy, and Bill Goldberg haters even easier, because Mauro will be a part of the broadcasting team for EliteXC Saturday Night Fights on CBS—Goldberg will not. Mauro will not be the play-by-play announcer, however. According to a press release issued by ProElite, Gus Johnson will be taking that spot at the broadcast table alongside Mauro and Frank Shamrock, who will serve as analysts. Karyn Bryant will serve as the cageside reporter.
For those not familiar with Gus Johnson, here’s a quick video of him wrapping up a Bills/Broncos NFL game in the broadcast booth. Johnson on the left.
A definite improvement over the Showtime team.
