Quite a few people are pointing to this interview as a possible reason for Karo Parisyan’s last-minute withdrawal from his UFC 88 bout against Yoshiyuki Yoshida.

Karo Parisyan Injures Back; Yoshida UFC 88 Bout Canceled
According to UFC.com, the Karo Parisyan vs. Yoshiyuki Yoshida fight has been canceled for tomorrow night’s event.
A last-minute back injury has forced welterweight contender Karo Parisyan to withdraw from his UFC 88 bout with Yoshiyuki Yoshida. Saturday’s UFC 88 card (pay-per-view 10pm ET / 7pm PT) will continue with nine bouts.
I’m not sure I’m buying this. The fighters are set to weigh-in in a hour. Shouldn’t he be cutting weight? Did he injure it in the sauna? Fall off the treadmill? Just seems odd on the day of weigh-ins.
MMAJunkie.com spoke to someone close to Parisyan who claimed Karo wasn’t in the best shape, but it wasn’t clear if that was the reason for the withdrawal. His battle with panic attacks are also being looked at as a possible reason.
