The FSBC has released the fighter payouts for Strikeforce “Miami.” Keep in mind, these figures represent the base contracted pay the fighter receives from the promotion. These figures do not include any additional undisclosed bonuses or sponsorship money, which in many cases exceeds a fighter’s base pay. These numbers also do not account for taxes, insurance, and license fees.

Fanhouse’s Ariel Helwani caught up with the winners and losers of last night’s Strikeforce ‘Miami’ event. Also, Showtime and Strikeforce have post-fight interviews to check out on their YouTube channels.

Unfortunately, CBS didn’t have time to show the Marloes Coenen vs. Roxanne Modafferi fight that earned Coenen a title shot against Cris Cyborg, but thanks to Showtime we get to see it now.

When I went to check my feed reader for the last time before heading to bed, this was the last story I ever expected to find.

Since stopping Gina Carano in August, Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos has been moving to the forefront of women’s MMA. In addition to winning a title belt and plenty of praise, she has received coverage in various MMA and fitness magazines. One offer from outside the industry caught her by surprise, though: an invitation to pose for Playboy.

“Actually we are still talking, and I’m thinking about that possibility,” she said. “After all, only one man saw me naked in my entire life and I have to think deeply about that.”

Ummm…so does anyone want to see Cris Cyborg naked?

Strikeforce’s Miami event tickets are set to go on sale next week.

Strikeforce in Miami is scheduled to take place at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida on Saturday, January 30. Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos will defend her women’s 145 lbs. championship. Football legend Herschel Walker will make his professional mixed martial arts debut. Nick Diaz has also been officially announced for the card. Their opponents are unknown at this time.

Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster and Stubhub. Stubhub is a secondary ticket market where you can find the hard-to-find seats even when the event is “sold-out.”
