Remember when Ken Shamrock sued the UFC back in 2008 for not giving him the second fight on his contract after he retired? If not, here’s a quick refresher.

Rocky Wouldn’t Approve Of Seth Petruzelli’s Siberian Training Regimen
These pictures pretty much tipped everyone off that Seth Petruzelli wasn’t your typical mixed martial artist, or 30-year old male for that matter. Then Seth played the dog in Tom Lawlor’s UFC 100 “Who let the dogs out” ring entrance proving there wasn’t much he wouldn’t do for the sake of entertainment. So really, it shouldn’t come as a shock to see Seth’s training regimen for Ken Shamrock consisting of a half-naked Seth letting some Russian dude hit him with a stick in the middle of Siberia, yet somehow it still is.
Ken Shamrock Says He’s In EA Sports MMA

If Ken Shamrock vs. Frank Shamrock is a fight you still want to see, you may just get the chance…in the virtual world at least. According to Around the Octagon, Shamrock says he’ll be in EA Sports MMA.
ATO caught up with Ken Shamrock last night and he confirmed that he will be appearing in the new EA Sports MMA video game that will be out later this year.
The addition of Shamrock alone to the roster might not be the most exciting news in the world, but could it mean EA is including other MMA legends and pioneers? I don’t know, but I’d love nothing more than to kick some serious ass as Bas Rutten or choke someone out as Royce Gracie. It’s a smart move I hope EA is making.
Bas Rutten vs. Alistair Overeem or Royce Gracie vs. Jake Shields, anyone?

Exclusive Interview: Frank Shamrock Talks Nick Diaz, Possible Future In Pro Boxing, Serial Killer Thrillers & More
In what will surely be a fast-paced and explosive fight, legendary fighter Frank Shamrock faces off against the durable Nick Diaz at the upcoming Strikeforce card on Showtime, April 11th.
Recently, we had the opportunity to talk to Frank and he filled us in on a number of important issues in his career, including the feud with the Gracie Camp, a probable move to professional boxing after rematches against Tito and Cung, the death of Tapout’s Mask, and what kind of books he reads to pump him up for his fights.
MMAConvert.com: Thanks a lot for taking time to talk to us Frank.
Shamrock: Not a problem at all, my pleasure.
MMAConvert.com: First off, how did the fight with Nick Diaz come about? Was this a fight you wanted or was it Diaz that was calling you out?
Shamrock: Well I got a call from Scott Coker and he said that he had just signed the Showtime agreement. He needed a big main event so I said, “Count me in.” Then, Scott called back about two days later and said, “What do you think about Nick Diaz?” and I said, “Uh, Nick who?” [Laughs]. Scott asked, “Well how about fighting him?” and I said, “I’d be happy to fight him.” And that was it.
MMAConvert.com: Do you feel you still have anything to prove against the Gracie camp? Is this fight with Diaz still an extension of that feud?
Shamrock: Well, I think I already proved everything; I knocked one of them out standing up and knocked one of them out on my back. I don’t what else there is to prove. I think that just stepping in their with a young guy who’s got a lot of good skills is enough for me these days.
MMAConvert.com: Despite the fact that you’re the one going down in weight and Nick’s the one going up, you’re being touted as the smaller fighter. What’s your reaction to that?
Shamrock: I think I’m the smaller fighter [Laughs]. I think I’m the little guy. Nick’s like 6’3. The last time I saw him he was easily 185 pounds and I’m only 5’10 and 183 pounds.
MMAConvert.com: How much weight are you cutting to get down to 179 pounds?
Shamrock: Well my natural body weight is about 183 pounds. I’ll be at around 186 pounds so I’ll probably have to cut about 5 or 6 pounds.
Ken Shamrock Caught Juicing For Ross Clifton Fight (Update)
When Frank Shamrock said his brother Ken was using steroids, he apparently wasn’t kidding.
Bobby Lashley To Return At ‘March Badness’
And guess who he’s fighting? Bloody Elbow has the scoop.
Sources close to Bloody Elbow can exclusively confirm that the heretofore unnamed opponent of former WWE superstar Bobby Lashley set to square off at Roy Jones Jr.’s mixed boxing and MMA event known as “March Badness” is none other than Ken Shamrock. The Lashley vs. Shamrock bout is part of an hybrid boxing-mixed martial arts card being assembled and promoted by former Ring Magazine pound-for-pound greatest boxer alive in Roy Jones, Jr. Jones’s promotional company, Square Ring Promotions, Inc., has scheduled the event to take place at the Pensacola Civic Center in Pensacola, Florida and will be broadcast live on pay-per-view.The event itself is scheduled for March 21st.
Ken Shamrock is taking a huge leap in competition after beating up on Ross Clifton. Lashley is a decorated wrestler and his athleticism is comparable with the best that mixed martial arts has to offer. The only thing that Ken Shamrock has on his side in this match-up is his experience, but let’s be honest, that should probably be the case in all the fights that Ken takes from here on out.
Frank Shamrock Continues The War Of Words
With a matchup against Nick Diaz coming up on April 11th, Frank Shamrock can expect to have a microphone in his face for the foreseeable future. As is always the case when Frank opens his mouth, the results are both compelling and noteworthy.
Five Ounces of Pain was able to secure an interview with Frank recently, and he was as insightful as ever, especially when asked about his brother Ken’s withdrawal from the Kimbo fight.
I think Ken cut himself. It goes back to his giant ego and not being smart enough to understand the rest of the business. I think he got upset because Kimbo was making twice as much as he was and I don’t think his ego could take it. I know for a fact that he tried to hold the network up for more money the day before the show and unfortunately his parting words were, “Well, then you never know what will happen because anything can happen.” Then when he showed up with the cut we all thought he juiced himself. You know, he’s not to be trusted … a real fighter would have superglued it and put makeup on it and been and would have been out there fighting. Which (is something) I have done and many fighters have done many times … I have no idea what he’s doing. I just hope when he’s finished destroying himself that he has something left to live by.
XP3 Trying To Take Tim Sylvia vs Ken Shamrock To Pay-Per-View…Seriously

This is funny. Remember that promotion you’ve never heard of, XP3, that was trying to put together that ridiculous Tim Sylvia vs. Ken Shamrock fight? The one that was at least assumed to be held on a local/regional level? You couldn’t have forgotten, the news only broke 24 hours ago. Well, maybe you did, but anyways, apparently negotiations are still taking place to book the match, but here’s the kicker. They’re trying to put it on pay-per-view!
Inside MMA 240: Florida DBPR, Ken Shamrock Explains The Cut And More
The latest episode of Inside MMA included the interview with Alexis Antonacci, the press secretary from the Florida DBPR, on StandGate. It turned out to be a big disappointment though. She pretty much just made the same “we think they’re innocent, but we’ll check it out” statement that she’s made to several other media outlets. However, in light of TJ Thompson’s comments, that better as hell change.
