The final ratings are in and records have been set. Kimbo Slice proved his drawing power by pulling in 6.51 million viewers during the final 20 minutes of the show when he was fighting James Thompson in the main event. This bested the previous record holder—Quinton Jackson vs Dan Henderson in the main event of UFC 75 on Spike TV which drew in 5.9 million viewers—making it the most watched fight in the history of mixed martial arts.

NJACB Stopped Gina Carano & Kaitlin Young Fight, Not Doctor
Kaitlin Young gives a little insight into the stoppage that ended the fight between her and Gina Carano at EliteXC ‘Primetime’ on CBS last Saturday night. It was believed that the doctor had stopped the fight, however according to Kaitlin, she was cleared by the doctor to continue:
My left cheek and area surrounding the eye are looking pretty ugly today, but there was no major damage. Though it may have looked like it on tv, I never actually had an open wound.

Kaitlin Young Comments On Gina Carano Not Making Weight
The “agreement” that Kaitlin wouldn’t disclose on camera was a 12.5% forfeiture of Gina Carano’s purse to her for missing the 141lbs weight limit. I’m sure 12.5% of whatever Gina is making for this fight is pretty damn good.
