ESPN MMA Live: WEC 37 Recap & UFC Fight Night 16 Preview

Just a quick note on the Liddell-Couture IV rumor. Franklin McNeil says in the video above that Liddell-Couture IV is not happening, and confirms what Chuck Liddell said in the video earlier today that neither fighter has even been approached by the UFC to make this fight. McNeil did state that if this fight were to ever take place, it would definitely not be in Germany, it would be in the US. Thank you Franklin, everything makes sense again.

Miguel Torres Talks Win Over Manny Tapia At WEC 37

Can anyone beat this kid? It doesn’t seem like it, but we said the same thing about Urijah Faber, so who knows. Anyways, Sherdog also has an interview up with Manny Tapia where he says the fight was stopped prematurely. If that was the case, then he should be thanking the ref. Nothing good was going to happen to Manny Tapia from that point on if the ref let it go.

Props to Cage Today for the video find.
