UFC heavyweight contenders Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Fabricio Werdum have decided upon coaching staffs for their upcoming Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 2 experience.

According to the Brazilian news source, Globo, Nogueira will bring in his twin brother, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Everaldo Penco, Eric Albarracin, Sheymon Moraes and Vitor Miranda.

Werdum, meanwhile, will incorporate Wanderlei Silva, Rafael Cordeiro, Rubens Cobrinha, Kenny Johnson and Felipe Werdum. Silva was the head coach – opposite Vitor Belfort – on the first TUF: Brazil season.

Filming is expected to begin early in 2013, with the two set to square off in the summer.

The 16th season of the reality TV show fires up again this Friday ay 9 EST.

TUF’s new season begins on Friday the 14th at 9pm east.

The news was not great, but we have the weight classes for the next season of The Ultimate Fighter.

Currently, welterweights are set to be seen beginning September 14 on TUF 16. The coaches will be Shane Carwin and Roy Nelson.

Well, the UFC went ahead and announced that middleweights and light heavyweights will be featured on TUF 17, with the tryout date set for September 17 in Las Vegas.

No other information was made public by the promotion. They did mention an early 2013 time frame for airing the season on FX.

In preparation For TUF Brazil’s close, The UFC is highlighting the best Brazilian fighters.

UFC officials have revealed the 32 fighters who will compete on a special two-hour episode to gain entrance into The Ultimate Fighter house.

The series, which stars heavyweights Shane Carwin and Roy Nelson as coaches, begins September 14 on FX. Sixteen welterweights will gain a spot on TUF, with a future UFC contract awaiting the winner.

Carwin and Nelson are set to square off against one another at the finale on December 15. The two have drawn plenty of interest with their obvious hatred for one another.

“Carwin and Nelson are two guys who just can’t stand each other and Roy and I haven’t exactly seen eye-to-eye, either,” UFC president Dana White said. “He’s been a nightmare for me to work with on this show with all his stupid BS.”
