You won’t be seeing Kalib Starnes in the UFC again anytime soon, according to Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports. Dana White did not hesitate to cut Kailb Starnes from the UFC after an abysmal performance in front of the record-setting, sold-out crowd in Montreal at UFC 83.

Dana White, who’s never been one to mince words, had this to say today about Kalib:

“He just doesn’t belong in the UFC and after his performance the other night, he should consider a new line of work.”

If you’ve followed The Ultimate Fighter shows—where Kalib ironically got his break in the UFC—you would know Dana wants guys who are willing to fight, not run away. He’s never been known to show compassion to the ones who don’t, and that is certainly exemplified here.

If you happened to miss UFC 83, here’s a short clip of the end of the fight when Nate Quarry does the Running Man and perhaps what you could call the Human Sprinkler Hammer Fist. It is pretty funny, especially if you happened to watch Kalib already run around the ring for 14 minutes by that point. One judge even scored the bout 30-24. It’s rare you see someone get a 10-8 round, let alone three of them in one fight.
