The Affliction ‘Banned’ weigh-ins took place today in Anaheim, California at the Honda Center.

The Aleksander Emelianenko vs Paul Buentello bout has been canceled. More info after the jump.

It appears Justin Levens has missed weight. He came in at 189lbs with a 186lbs weight limit.

Apparently there is something going on with Aleks and Buentello not weighing in.

**There is some confusion on the scene, as Paul Buentello and Aleksander Emelianenko did not weigh-in. Comments were not immediately available from the fighters or the organization.

MMA Mania believes it has something to do with Emelianenko’s medical clearance.

Sherdog.com is reporting that Aleks failed to meet his licensing requirements.

The heavyweight bout between Aleksander Emelianenko (Pictures) and Paul Buentello (Pictures) scheduled for Saturday’s Affliction debut event has been cancelled.

According to Bill Douglas of the California State Athletic Commission, Emelianenko did not meet his licensing requirements.
